[ THIS IS THE WORST... actually no it's not the worst day of her life, that was anything involving her father, but it's still bad. She's sitting on a chair in the living room eating their leftovers by the time Rin comes down, and just stares at her. ]

What the hell are you doing now? [ What is she wearing... listen athletic wear wasn't a Thing in medieval times she's never seen that bright shit. ]

[erbe]

Exercising.

[Rin continues to stretch on the floor before turning over and starting a rep of push-ups. Her muscles show when she flexes, and her body moves with relative ease.]

[bloodings]

... But you're a mage.

[ Her tone is confused — Merlin sure as hell never did a pushup in his life. But after a moment, she shrugs and puts the food bag down. ]

Well, whatever. At least let me keep you company. [ Mordred slides her jacket off, then moves down to do pushups of her own beside Rin. Obviously, it's no trouble with her Servant strength, but it looks like she'd be able to keep up even without that. ]

[Didn't she say to Mordred that self defense was vital for a mage these days? Though because of her father dying and Kirei taking over her training she learned less of the flashy showmanship stuff a traditional mage would, and more enhance of combat style.

After a few reps of push-ups Rin tucks her feet under the large sofa in the room and starts doing crunches.



Still effectively ignoring Mordred, but now she doesn't seem to be working out in a bout of pent up fury.]

[bloodings]

[ Mordred just... keeps doing pushups. One-handed, now, even. It's easier to turn her head and watch Rin this way, and eventually she has to smirk. ]

Hah. I guess you're a little impressive, Master. [ Self defence or not, she didn't expect Rin to be quite so physical. ] We could spar later, if you want. It doesn't look like you have a partner already.

[ A sparring partner. Obviously. ]

[erbe]

[Rin only pauses to regard Mordred when her set is done. She stops, allowing her shoulders to lie flat on the ground, and tilts her head to look at her Servant. Which means looking at her upside-down.

A light sheen of sweat has broken out at Rin's hair line, and some other places. She had been using a little mana to increase her weight to make her training a little more difficult. Her chest moves up and down dramatically, though her breathing is steady even if it's deep.]

I used to have a partner, but I refuse to see him anymore.

[bloodings]

[ Mordred, by comparison, just switches arms — and she isn't sweating at all. Must be real nice. ]

Did he make you mad? [ ... ] Heh, I can see how that might have happened.

[ Given everything that happened today. She sits up after a few more pushups, arms hanging over her knees as she looks at Rin. ]

I don't get anything by doing this. Servants can't get stronger once they're summoned... at least not physically. [ She cants her head a little. ] But I'll help you if you want.

[erbe]

[Rin sighs, and then rolls over from her spot to sit up.]

Maybe tomorrow. I shouldn't be wearing myself out if we're going out tonight. If something happens I don't want to be too tired to handle it.

[bloodings]

Maybe you should work on your stamina.

[ ... She's kidding, don't hit her. Not bothered enough to stand, she crawls across the floor to the bag of leftovers, and heads over in Rin's direction with it. A true king. ]

The ramen is probably lukewarm at best by now. I'll save it for tomorrow and get something healthier to eat for now.

[Rin allows Mordred to continue sitting on the floor as she stands. As she passes by the Servant she tussles Saber's hair briefly. She then walks toward the kitchen.]

[bloodings]

[ She can't save it for tomorrow if Mordred eats it all... no, she'll be good for once. Though she does scrunch up her nose like a kid when Rin touches her hair. ]

H-hey...! [ That's a weak protest. ] What, are you worried about your weight, Master? I guess you can't afford to gain any.

[ Kill her. ]

[erbe]

[BITCH.]




[Rin expels a gandr shot at Mordred. She's already at the exit of the living room by the time the ball of energy flies from her finger and hits the Servant in the back of the head.]

[bloodings]

[ She lets out a yelp of surprise — it just feels like she's being flicked in the back of her head, but it's still annoying. ]

What the hell is your problem? [ Gee I wonder. ]

[erbe]

You're my problem! What else could it be?! You don't even think before you do anything, do you?

[She points accusingly at Mordred.]

[bloodings]

[ GLARE ]

Why should I have to? I'm the most powerful knight, and the most powerful Servant! You're the problem!

[erbe]

Look, even the most powerful Servant can get killed if they don't think. I bet if you had a Master who let you do whatever you want, you'd fall right into a trap.

[As far as Rin is concerned, Morded is lucky to have a perfectionist Master like her who is big on strategy.]

[bloodings]

Nothing could trap me.

[ She puffs herself up a bit... which looks hilarious, given her size, but she's used to having her armour to make herself look intimidating. ]

... You're right, though. I'm obviously in charge, but I don't mind listening to your advice. [ "Advice." ] There are worse Masters out there. Actually, from a magical standpoint, you're probably one of the best. You're a first class mage for sure.

[ It's too blunt to be any attempt at sucking up. Mordred just switches moods at the drop of a hat. ]

[erbe]

[Is Saber complimenting her, or mocking her? Sometimes it's difficult to tell. Rin shakes her head while sighing before turning her back to Mordred to head to the kitchen. The Servant is left all alone with her bagged ramen in the living room.]

[bloodings]

[ Complimenting, for some reason. But, whatever, she's just going to... stretch out and take a nap on the floor, with her jacket as a makeshift blanket. Yeah. Regal, kingly, etc; just ignore the snoring and the drool. ]

[erbe]

[Rin gets a small lunch of things already in the house. Something healthy. When she's done she walks by the living room. The sight (and sound) of Mordred gives her pause. Gosh, what a mess, isn't she? Completely helpless. Right now Rin could deal a blow with ease.

Instead she simply takes a throw blanket and covers the Servant.

What an idiot. She could have just used the damn couch.]

[bloodings]

[ Her instincts would probably tip her off to any attack... still, sleeping on the floor and not the couch is pure Mordred-level stupidity. She doesn't sleep for long; she was well attuned to stealing moments of rest when she was alive, and soon wakes up again, making a surprised noise when she notices the blanket. ]

Where'd this come from... [ Because Rin obviously isn't nice enough to give it to her. She kicks the blanket off and stretches out on the floor, then yells out. ] Yo, Master! [ WHERE ARE YOU ]

[erbe]

[It's a big house. She doesn't hear Mordred calling. If the Servant does go looking for her Master she'll find Rin in her workshop looking up things like locator spells or surveillance magics.]

[bloodings]

[ She does go looking, and, when she walks in, she immediately starts touching everything she can get her stupid hands on, without asking permission (or even saying anything at all). ]

What are you doing now? [ Touch. Touch touch. ]

[erbe]

Research. What do you think I—

[Rin immediately gets up knocking back her chair to get to Mordred and grab her wrist.]

Don't touch that!

[bloodings]

[ She actually jumps a little at the shout — then looks embarrassed about it. Then she just starts pouting. ]

I just wanted to look... [ That's the problem. ]
