KALEIDOSTICK
Kaleidosticks are Mystic Codes (one trick pony-type magical items) created by Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg through the Second Magic (Operation of Parallel Worlds). The owner, restricted to women, can contract with the Spirit through blood, making contact with the Kaleidostick, or providing "energy" from love. Through the usage of the self-named Prism Trance, the Kaleidosticks possess the ability to transform its contractor into another version of themselves from among Parallel Worlds, such as one who is good at singing or one who can make a particular kind of food well. This "downloads" the abilities into the user temporarily, overlaying the user with that of the alternate world version. For Ruby, she also picks the personality and outfit of the user as she deems suitable, focusing on her enjoyment from the humiliation of the user.
With the technical jargon out of the way, I'd like to say this: Kaleido-Ruby a "magical item with a fabricated personality". Ruby is a cheerful, mischievous, but also sadistic Mystic Code that hates her creator, while also enjoying teasing and annoying her user/master. While her powers are only for gags, her nasty personality can help reveal important character secrets or hidden traits especially for someone secretive like Tohsaka.

Edelstein Aroma-Thaumaturgy
The ornate nature of Zenith's architecture reach even this shop. Large, arched windows allow moonlight to supplement the candles as soft shadows dance on the numerous shelves and glass containers. High ceilings give the owner plenty of space to stack product up along the wall invoking the feeling as if you had stepped into a library of scents. There are tables that serve as islands of interest — samples carefully placed to catch the eye and promote intrigue. One might even see the stray offering of candles or soaps, but those are done by commission. The shop itself seems scent-neutral — likely in an attempt avoid interfering with those who would like to be sampling.
Away in a far corner is the owner. Sectioned off by a full counter that encompasses her whole area — though it seems a small section may swing inwards if she'd like to step into the rest of the shop. With her seems to be a myriad of curious supplies. Perhaps for making product on-demand?
