Near the Antiques and Baubles Market (on the opposite side of Benny's) is a small shop illuminated by candlelight. If the owner is there the door will be open and you'll be allowed to browse the shelves of samples. Everything is clearly labeled what it is, but the price goes unlisted. While there is a large array of salves, balms, potions, and perfumes, you may have been told the owner is well versed in both custom and "unique" concoctions — if you're willing to pay the price.
The ornate nature of Zenith's architecture reach even this shop. Large, arched windows allow moonlight to supplement the candles as soft shadows dance on the numerous shelves and glass containers. High ceilings give the owner plenty of space to stack product up along the wall invoking the feeling as if you had stepped into a library of scents. There are tables that serve as islands of interest — samples carefully placed to catch the eye and promote intrigue. One might even see the stray offering of candles or soaps, but those are done by commission. The shop itself seems scent-neutral — likely in an attempt avoid interfering with those who would like to be sampling.
Away in a far corner is the owner. Sectioned off by a full counter that encompasses her whole area — though it seems a small section may swing inwards if she'd like to step into the rest of the shop. With her seems to be a myriad of curious supplies. Perhaps for making product on-demand?

✧ Od → the life-force energy found within living organisms such as humans, animals and Magical Beasts. Once depleted, the Magic Circuits that are stored in the human soul will begin to replenish it. Od is produced as long as one lives, but the amount a person can store varies from individual to individual. Od has different names depending on the culture, such as Qi (chi).
✧ Mana → the greater Magical Energy found in the atmosphere of the world. It is the "breath of the planet filling the world and nature," produced by the World through a network of Ley Lines. This may differ in Kenos, as Ley Lines may not function as they did on Earth. So far there is an assumption made by Rin that The Tree of Life is supporting this type of flow in Kenos and that it may relate to the alchemical Sefirot trees.
✧ Magecraft → the artificial reenactment of Mystery. The ability to bring about what is possible through science with supernatural means. The limits of Magecraft have changed with time, as science evolved some Magics from the past became possible through science. Types of Magecraft include:
✦ Projection - to shape Magical Energy into the material composition and design of an object that is being imagined by the mage.
✦ Displacement - One of the basics of Displacement Magecraft is "Shape Replacement", which is replacing the shape of an object into another shape, such as a spoon into a fork or a detailed Rose flower. Derived from Alchemy, the system has a fundamental rule that the replacement will always suffer from degradation, thought of as basic and low-level, there are very few who use this Magecraft.
✦ Tuning - a practice focusing on the tuning of Magic Crests. Tuners areessential as they can perform intervention during the Magic Crest transplantation process to aid in the reduction of side effects that normally stem from rejection of the Crest.
✦ Astromancy - focus on aspects such as predicting the future and observing the stars.
✧ Mystery → a sliver of power of many different types. Magecraft is, in essence, Mystery. However, since the beginning of the Common Era, human history has been in the process of systematically expelling Mysteries. To the same degree the light of science expands, the darkness of Mystery recedes.
✧ Magic → the highest class of Mystery that surpasses Magecraft and all current sciences of the age. "Magic" can be differentiated from "Magecraft" in that the consequences of its use are ostensibly "impossible" or "miraculous". Concepts like time manipulation, teleportation, spatial warping and quarantine, and the Resurrection of the dead are miracles thought to be possible only through the application of Magic.
Human bodies as they are now are not capable of withstanding Magic. Even high magecraft that gets close to Magic can tear a person apart. (Rin will have recounted the time she summonedherservant for the Holy Grail War as an example).
✧ Mage → or "magus/magi" is the term for a practitioner of Magecraft, the magical science. This is opposed to a Magician who is capable of bringing forth true miracles that are impossible to be reenacted at the current scientific stage. Most Magicians were (are) inhuman and capable of withstanding the World's rejection of True Magic. More than just a name, the term "Mage" defines a whole set of beliefs and lifestyle, the first of which is the desire to reach the "Truth". No matter the cost, they use all their assets and abilities to reach that goal, and any abilities gained in the process are a by-product. They hold no meaning except as a means to reach the Truth.
A Mage also dedicates himself to the study and refinement of Magecraft while driving himself apart of the values of common people in the process. He searches for the greater truths of the universe not to answer existential questions, but just for the sake of knowing. Ideally, a Mage would render his own self transparent while still retaining his ego. In reality most mages, especially those of the Mage's Association, are often caught up in petty power struggles.
✧ Truth / the Root → the source of all events and phenomena in the universe. Existing outside of time, it stores and archives information of all possibilities and events, past, present, and future, of the world. It is the place from where all Souls originate from and to where they return after death.
✧ Magic Crest → engraved on the body in a variety of shapes, most typically in a magic circle, a Magic Crest is a series of Magic Circuits that were given a more stable form in order to act as an archive of thaumaturgical capability. (Rin would reveal her own. A mass of lines starting at the wrist and working down to her elbow that resemble circuitry.)
