Stuck up, self righteous pricks? Oh believe me, I know. I've run with that sort before. Good guys to hang around, but they don't stand a chance in a conflict like this.

[He recalls one such individual, Edward Elric... that poor runt would be a goner in a day. You couldn't win if you couldn't kill and he refused to do it.]

[Just Greed's luck, but he's matched up with the kind of girl who insists that during a Grail War the Masters don't have to kill each other. Incapacitating them and removing their servants is all that's necessary.

Which is true, it's simply not efficient or advisable.

The oven dings. Rin slips on a pair of oven mitts before opening the door and taking hold of the baking tray. She sets it on the stove, and begins to collect a plate and spatula to move the slice off the sheet and onto the plate.]

It's also called being noble, and that's why some of these Servants are Heroic Spirits in the first place.

[He'd just as soon criticize her for her second rate ability at dealing with pizza. Who needed a spatula?]

Hey, I can do noble. It's just I don't make it a lifestyle choice like some people do.

[A spatula is the only way to guarantee her fingers won't touch the burning hot metal of the baking sheet. Blisters on her hands means she cannot polish her jewels the way she likes! Also any imperfections in her body means she'll be functioning at less than 100% during the war!

Duh!

Rin takes her plate to the table, and sits next to Greed. Who is still seated like a hooligan.]

Is that so? I suppose we'll see during the course of the war.

[Time to fold her pizza so that all the grease drops toward the crust and onto the plate while she cautiously bites the cheesy tip.]

[avaricious]

[She's talking war, but he's jut watching her eat the pizza and grimacing. Man, this girl is hopeless...]

Really? That's how you're going to eat it? Don't tell me you're worried about your figure.

[erbe]

I can eat pizza any damn way I want, and you're not going to tell me it's wrong. Besides, it's not about my figure.

[She mumbles something that sounds like she might be worried about acne. Rin doesn't much have to worry about her figure because she actually works out. Tonight he'll find she actually does push ups before bed.]

[avaricious]

Oh, it's wrong. Totally missing the point.

[But hey. If she wants to ruin this ridiculously expensive pizza that she couldn't even afford it by eating it like a weirdo, then who was he to stop her? She'd probably just waste another command seal.]

[erbe]

There's no missing the point to pizza. The only point to pizza is to eat it!

[This isn't very lady like, but she's up to her ears in frustration with him. So Rin kicks at his foot.]

[avaricious]

Ow! What the hell was that for!?

[Okay he was a Servant so that didn't actually hurt. But instinct was still a pretty heavy influence on him. And that was a dick move on her part! He even pulled up his foot to shield it from her.]

[erbe]

What do you think it's for? You're trying to police how I eat.

[She tucks her legs under her chair now that she has already landed a blow.]

Hey, I'm just trying to help you live a little. Who knows? This could be your last week on Earth.

[He's a great motivational speaker, really. If there's anything that's a solid idea, it's telling your partner and anchor that they'll probably die in the war.]

[erbe]

Don't be so morbid, Saber. [oops] I fully intend on surviving this war, and you should too. Why let yourself get sloppy just because you might die? It might actually lead to you dying.

[She already seems to have forgotten his request to be called his name when they're in private.]

[avaricious]

[He scowls.]

It's Greed! It's not that hard. [Being called Saber is just plain annoying. He doesn't even have a sword.]

It's also not that hard to shut your mouth, but you insist on using it anyway.

[Okay, look. Rin usually isn't so snippy, but when she's in a mood it's difficult to get out of it. She also probably shouldn't be verbally attacking her servant, but she's still much too sore to get over it and be friendly in the face of annoyance.

She delicately eats the rest of her pizza. Her attitude might not be cute, but that doesn't mean her table manners have to suffer for it.]

I'm blessed with a beautiful tongue. I'd be depriving the world if I stopped using it.

[Forget Greed. He should be called Vanity instead. Which he somehow manages even when it's not his original body.]

[erbe]

Over use could dull anything sharp. Maybe you should speak sparingly.

[If she can't kick him physically she'll make her jabs verbal.]

Oh, really? Is that why you keep your wits on standby all the time?

[He could kick physically... probably. But he wouldn't like it. This, however, is completely fair game.]

[erbe]

[She frowns, but doesn't break into an outburst. Turn about is fair play, and she'll simply have to best him.]

It's actually out of courtesy to you. You said you don't like to fight women, so I hold back on account of your severe handicap.

[avaricious]

That's a fair point. [He leans back a little, holding onto the back of the chair to support his weight.] But you're not really a woman. Not yet.

[erbe]

[With a small 'hmph' she turns her nose up at him.]

Is that so?

[She assumes it's her age that sets her apart despite only being three years away from being considered an adult in Japan. Is 17 really that young? Now that Rin is thinking about it, he doesn't look too much older than she. Her curiosity gets the best of her. Rin scoots in close to Greed, and leans toward him to get a better look at his face.]

[avaricious]

Meh? What the hell are you doing?

[He leans away a bit, not entirely sure what she's doing. Is this some kind of mage shit?]

[erbe]

Trying to figure out how old you are. Sit still.

[Rin's hand thrusts out to grab him by the leg so he can't get too far away from her.]

[avaricious]

[He doesn't quite give in, but he doesn't try pulling away anymore. Instead he snorts in amusement.]

Well good luck with that. Guess all you want, but this isn't actually my original body. You might have noticed, I don't exactly look Amestrian.

[erbe]

[Rin's frown deepens. Her hand reaches out and pinches his cheek before tugging it.]

Well this body looks my age. If this isn't your body I bet you're ancient.

[avaricious]

[He just sort of... accepts this. His skin is pretty youthful, so it pinches easily. But he's not happy about it at all.]

If you must know, my old body was pushing two hundred years old.

[So yeah. Ancient.]
