Eins

For the elements, silver and iron. For the foundation, stone and the Archduke of Pacts. And for the ancestor, my great master, Schweinorg. Close the gates of the four directions. Come forth from the Crown and follow the forked road leading to the Kingdom. Fill, fill, fill, fill, fill. Repeat five times. When each is filled, destroy it. Set.
Heed my words. My will creates your body, and your sword creates my destiny. If you heed the Grail's call and obey my will and reason, then answer me! I hereby swear that I shall be all the good in the world. That I shall defeat all evil in the world. Thou Seventh Heaven, clad in the three great words of power, come forth from the circle of binding, Guardian of the Scales!
[This is a master (haha) post for Fate/PSLs! If you need anything specific tailored to your character (like a starter that doesn't start with the summoning like the above) let me know! We'll work something out over PM or Plurk.]

to be fair 90% of nasu power level stuff is complete bs
[ Rin's fries are safe for now. It's not that Saber's no longer hungry. Perish the thought. Instead she's focused on the the issue at hand of the war. Normally Rin's abilities wouldn't be an issue, but Saber is almost certain that Rin has next to no combat experience. In an environment like the grail war, such a liability could be damning.
Still Saber won't say that outright. She won't injure Rin's pride, so she'll just sidestep the issue for the moment. ]
Things will most likely turn out for the better if I take the front line. There's no foe my blade cannot defeat, and so long as you survive our victory will come easily.

Saber, let's not overstay our welcome here.
[Sitting down in a booth isn't exactly going to help them accomplish anything, and Rin thinks she sees a familiar face in the crowd approaching the restaurant. It's time to leave.]

Where do you plan to proceed from here? Is there much more of the city that remains to be seen?

[Tohsaka stands by the booth waiting for Saber to rise so they might exit the establishment together. While she waits she can feel... something. Like eyes boring holes into her back. She can't tell where it's coming from, but this solidifies it. They should definitely leave.]

However Saber realizes that she's most likely walking directly into a trap. Still in her mind's eye this represents the best possible case for success, so she acts on her instinct decisively. She starts to whisper in a hushed tone to Rin, her tone stern and serious.]
We're leaving through the back. Stay close to me.
i thought i had responded to this, i'm sorry for the delay
She pauses.
Walking out first could be the end to their campaign. As a master she can't quite take the hit Saber would be able to. Rin allows her hand to drop, and steps aside. She looks over to her Saber.]
You first?
No worries!
She isn't quite sure what awaits her on the other side, but she won't be intimidated at this point of the game. If someone truly means her master harm, then she'll ensure that it's the last mistake they ever make. ]

Rin. We need to find a secluded spot where I can fight openly.
[ At this point returning to the Tohsaka mansion is ill advised. With them being followed, leading an enemy straight to their stronghold would be ill-advised. Attempting to lose them in the crowd wouldn't work either. Assuming that a Servant is shadowing them, escape isn't an option. In Saber's mind the best course of action would be to try to force the enemy into a direct engagement, and from there eliminate them from the war. ]

[In all the leaning and the hushed whispering Rin accidentally bumps her lips against her Saber's temple. This causes her to become more on edge, squeeze Saber's hand tighter, and take off at a quick pace. She strides hurriedly to the next crosswalk, and then stands there staring at the traffic light so hard it's almost as if the device offended her.
She's still holding Saber's hand. Her cheeks are flushed with color, but that makes her look like any other person who has had the chill of the winter bite at their skin. She says nothing further trying to pretend that slip didn't happen.
There are more important things to focus on.]

When they reach the stoplight, Saber's managed to regain enough of her senses to lightly tug at her hand.]
Master...
[ Saber might be blushing ever so lightly. She is a former King of England. Having to ask people to let go of her hand after laying their lips on her head is not something that exactly comes natural to Saber. She pauses only for a few moments before continuing. ]
You can let go of my hand now. I will not lose you in the crowd nor will I let harm come to you.
[ Because this is definitely why Rin is gripping her hand so tight. Definitely. Without a doubt in her mind. ]

R—right. I simply did not want us to get separated.
[The light turns green. Rin begins to move forward into the crosswalk.]

She'll follow along for now, ready to spring to action so long as that presence follows them like a smog.]

make their way down town, walkin' fast as faces passcontinue forward Rin keeps her distance. Enough so that sometimes people will shuffle in between them.Tohsaka doesn't feel any dread over it, though. Despite them temporarily losing sight of each other they're still connected. Her Saber isn't ever too far away, and knowing that keeps her calm.]
We're getting close. Do you think they've given up?
[The feeling of foreboding hasn't left, but the intensity has diminished some.]
no subject
I find that unlikely. They are most likely waiting for us to reach our destination where they can engage us more freely. We should exercise caution. If they are predicting our movements, they will have a trap laid out in anticipation.
[ Sorry, Rin. Saber is too used to scumbag masters from the last war. Her mind is always going to leap to the worst possible scenario that features them getting screwed over in some way. ]

Tohsaka waits at the last crosswalk they have to make. Her eyes fall on the desolate land that was destroyed by the fire ten years ago. She wonders if maybe this wasn't the best idea, but this isn't the time to second guess. They're already here.]
We'll burn that bridge when we get to it, Saber. Besides, I trust you Saber.
[Or at least she trusts in her experience and determination to win.]
