[Rin complies without argument. Silently they slip into the back just barely missing on shift employees who would question their presence in the back. Rin, instinctively, has one hand in her pocket holding a jewel and the other hand begins to reach for the door that will be their exit.

She pauses.

Walking out first could be the end to their campaign. As a master she can't quite take the hit Saber would be able to. Rin allows her hand to drop, and steps aside. She looks over to her Saber.]

You first?

[ Saber deftly maneuvers through the back of the store, directing Rin as they deftly avoided the employees that would make the situation even more difficult. When they come to the door, she simply nods to the question and steps forward, confidently opening the door and stepping forward.

She isn't quite sure what awaits her on the other side, but she won't be intimidated at this point of the game. If someone truly means her master harm, then she'll ensure that it's the last mistake they ever make. ]

[Fortunately for the pair whatever force that is making them feel this foreboding only wants to observe. Nothing happens when Saber pushes the door open, and nothing continues to happen when Rin cautiously steps out either. When it's clear they're not about to get attacked on sight, Rin takes her Saber's hand, and begins power-walking her way back toward the crowded street. Some people may not intend to play by the rules, but on the off chance this person does, she wants the safety of being in a public place.]

[ This isn't the work of an Assassin class. That presence watching them is far, far too obvious, but Saber ponders but for a moment if they're being toyed with. The thought irks her. If there's one thing above all that Saber hates, it is cowardice. She lets Rin guide her back towards the crowded street, but she leans in and whispers as they move.]

Rin. We need to find a secluded spot where I can fight openly.

[ At this point returning to the Tohsaka mansion is ill advised. With them being followed, leading an enemy straight to their stronghold would be ill-advised. Attempting to lose them in the crowd wouldn't work either. Assuming that a Servant is shadowing them, escape isn't an option. In Saber's mind the best course of action would be to try to force the enemy into a direct engagement, and from there eliminate them from the war. ]

I know a place, come on.

[In all the leaning and the hushed whispering Rin accidentally bumps her lips against her Saber's temple. This causes her to become more on edge, squeeze Saber's hand tighter, and take off at a quick pace. She strides hurriedly to the next crosswalk, and then stands there staring at the traffic light so hard it's almost as if the device offended her.

She's still holding Saber's hand. Her cheeks are flushed with color, but that makes her look like any other person who has had the chill of the winter bite at their skin. She says nothing further trying to pretend that slip didn't happen.

There are more important things to focus on.]

[ Initially Saber didn't seem to mind Rin holding her hand, the more archaic lady simply assuming the younger woman was guiding her. However when the lips bump up against her temple and Rin grips her hand even more strongly, Saber pauses just for a moment before Rin almost drags her away.

When they reach the stoplight, Saber's managed to regain enough of her senses to lightly tug at her hand.]

Master...

[ Saber might be blushing ever so lightly. She is a former King of England. Having to ask people to let go of her hand after laying their lips on her head is not something that exactly comes natural to Saber. She pauses only for a few moments before continuing. ]

You can let go of my hand now. I will not lose you in the crowd nor will I let harm come to you.

[ Because this is definitely why Rin is gripping her hand so tight. Definitely. Without a doubt in her mind. ]

[Immediately Rin drops Saber's hand while jerking her own away as if Saber had scorched her. Rin even takes two steps away from the small king to allow some distance between them.]

R—right. I simply did not want us to get separated.

[The light turns green. Rin begins to move forward into the crosswalk.]

[ Saber is almost glad for the distance created after Rin realizes that she was still clutching her hand. She does her best to remain vigilant, but in moments like this are awkward for her. She feels like she should be taking charge and leading the way, but her unfamiliarity with the area proves to be a hindrance.

She'll follow along for now, ready to spring to action so long as that presence follows them like a smog.]

[Rin strides along the crosswalk as they head forward. It won't be a short walk to the desolate park, but it won't take forever either. So while they make their way down town, walkin' fast as faces pass continue forward Rin keeps her distance. Enough so that sometimes people will shuffle in between them.

Tohsaka doesn't feel any dread over it, though. Despite them temporarily losing sight of each other they're still connected. Her Saber isn't ever too far away, and knowing that keeps her calm.]

We're getting close. Do you think they've given up?

[The feeling of foreboding hasn't left, but the intensity has diminished some.]

[ While her master doesn't show any sort of fear, Saber remains alert as they make their way across the town. Every single person is a potential threat, and she stands ready to eliminate anyone that intended harm to Rin. She wishes that Rin would stay closer. She's far too used to Kiritsugu's techniques, and and someone with decent aim could take an easy and clean shot, assuming that they were avoiding a potential worst case scenario of an Archer class waiting in the wings for them. ]

I find that unlikely. They are most likely waiting for us to reach our destination where they can engage us more freely. We should exercise caution. If they are predicting our movements, they will have a trap laid out in anticipation.

[ Sorry, Rin. Saber is too used to scumbag masters from the last war. Her mind is always going to leap to the worst possible scenario that features them getting screwed over in some way. ]

[It's only when the park at the former site of the Fuyuki Civic Center is in view that Rin allows herself to fall back in closer to Saber. The feeling of having eyes on her hasn't gone away, but maybe it has lessened? Or perhaps they've been walking for quite a while and it simply doesn't feel as heavy as it originally did.

Tohsaka waits at the last crosswalk they have to make. Her eyes fall on the desolate land that was destroyed by the fire ten years ago. She wonders if maybe this wasn't the best idea, but this isn't the time to second guess. They're already here.]

We'll burn that bridge when we get to it, Saber. Besides, I trust you Saber.

[Or at least she trusts in her experience and determination to win.]
