Details
Miss Tohsaka is a complicated young woman who finds it difficult to open up to others. Beyond that prickly (or impish) exterior is a young woman of versatility. While Miss Tohsaka can be both your devil and your angel, she can also be much more. A wealth of curiosity, willingness to try new things, and her own taste for variety means that she may just be able to scratch an itch or fill a niche that you just haven't been able to yet.
My Future PlansIs ambition Miss Tohsaka's middle name? It just might be. She intends to become well known in the community of Mages — hoping to live up to not only her father's legacy, but the legacy of her family's name. However, before that...
It seems like Miss Tohsaka is "in it to win it"! Our lovely bachelorette is determined to win the Game of our local resort. It seems she has a specific wish she wants granted, an ideal prize in mind, but so far she's been secretive as to what it is. Are you able to pry it from her plump little lips?
Rumor has it that Miss Tohsaka comes from a long pedigree of Mages, and was born with a rare ability. Aside from being a veritable super-battery of magical energy, she also has been raised as a mage for over ten years. How studious. Do you think any of that might have... other uses?
Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and FoodUnfortunately Miss Tohsaka doesn't indulge in most hobbies that don't have a practical purpose. The tomes she reads are informational texts about magic, her gardening is for crafting potions, and her workouts are... you guessed it! To keep her combat ability up.
Perhaps you're the right person to intervene. Teach her to live a little! Let her hair down, and loosen up. How can an uptight girl like her actually win the Game if she's so closed off and guarded? Take her out for some fun, teach her a new hobby, or have her engage with yours!
Oh, dear. Miss Tohsaka's tastes are so varied that it's hard to pinpoint just one type of ideal! Big, muscly men — soft, curvy women — or even someone in that sweet androgynous spot... What really catches her eye is a challenge, or an easy win. Put her to the test or roll over for her.
Do be kind and make sure to praise her. As someone who lost her father early, poor Miss Tohsaka has been starved for validation. Or, perhaps... you could indulge her on the opposite end of the spectrum? Such an arrogant girl deserves a little punishment, and as much as she punishes herself some help might be appreciated. If not, she may just end up punishing you, and making you her prey.

★★★☆☆
Kind of vanilla, but fun to tease. Would like exploring more of what can make him squirm, and hear him beg.
★★★★☆
Exciting and experimental. I guess I do like girls too, huh? Maybe we can incorporate magic next time.
★★★☆☆
Interesting. Curious about his body. Am I... a furry? Is that what you call it?
★★☆☆☆
Annoying, but workable. Mediocre, but because she's too vanilla and not entirely on technique.
★☆☆☆☆
Absolutely atrocious. Wish I could give negative stars. No more to say.
special delivery ♡
the bigger package is, as he had promised, a red dress from one of the more luxurious stores in the nest; though not on the more heavily expensive side, the tag attached to it - that aventurine purposely left untouched - shows the price was nothing short of a full large payout.
the smaller package is an extra gift; inside, a pair of heels that he could only count on his unmatched luck to buy the correct size - and perhaps an extra aid from topaz, who just happened to be about the same height as his new friend. the tag attached to it, once again purposely left untouched, reveals the price to be a few hundreds under a medium payout.
lastly, the envelope reads:
I hope my gifts find you well, my friend!
Truthfully, my eye to women's fashion still needs some work. One of my bosses in my work place has far better taste, but I have spent enough time helping her with her shopping trips that I would like to believe I have learned a thing or two. So, what's your verdict? Did I do well?
The shoes are a little extra gift. I figured that it would be easier to gift you shoes that already go along well with the dress, in case you don't own anything that would match it. I wouldn't want you to spend your hard-earned money on something that I should be gifting you, after all.
If these are not to your tastes, feel free to send me a message, and I will be happy to buy you something new.
I look forward to our dinner date,
Aventurine.
and if all of that wasn't enough, attached to the envelope is two small payouts with a note: In case you would like to purchase any matching accessories to go with your new outfit.
... also, why does the envelope smell slightly like expensive perfume? )
→ Action (hope this is okay)
At least these are less "gifts to her" and more "brag points for him". Since she had a similar dress she was provided for the Virgin Auctions back in December, Rin decides to grab the gloves from that ensemble. With his helpful payouts (greatly appreciated since her backfired scam has made her too broke to supplement) she has decided to pair his offerings with a black garnet necklace, ruby earrings that match the dress, and a half-up braid style to her hair. The last bit in hopes that her wavy locks don't fall forward over her shoulder and tangle with the black garnet piece.
With little familiarity to the Gilded Cage, she'll arrive five minutes late on purpose. A buffer for herself so she doesn't anxiously wait around for him. For the night she wears makeup she doesn't usually feel the need to bother with, but her floral perfume is a standard companion for her. She won't wear it heavier than usual, so she does wonder if the signature scent he left with the envelope will be what he wears - and if it will over power her own scent. In all honesty? She might welcome that.]
yeah of course!!! 💕
he doesn't mind waiting for his date to arrive, especially when he had been a whole thirty minutes early. his own outfit, unlike his usual colorful style, had been a bet in itself - aventurine had meant to match her, complement her looks, and his choice of outfit had been right on the mark. a black dress shirt embroidered in rhinestones, black high-waisted pants with a white belt, and white leather shoes - harmonious with each other, and proud of his picks, he had almost wished jade could see the final look.
the only splashes of color are his usual accessories; gold rings mostly on his right hand, the signature peacock-like earring of his on his left ear, and the colorful rose-tinted shades aventurine tucks back into one of his pockets once rin arrives. the magenta-blue of his eyes, paired with the black, stand out even more. )
The dress suits you, ( is he patting himself on the back or complimenting her? maybe both, until: ) You look beautiful. I hope my gifts were helpful, though if not, there's no need to return them. They're still meant to be gifts. ( the extra money, that is -
and for what it's worth, the scent on the envelope is, indeed, the same perfume aventurine is wearing to their date. though sweet, it's remarkably strong... because he has the terrible habit of spraying it on himself one too many times. he holds his hand out for her to take, ever the gentleman. )
Hungry?

Yet her displeasure doesn't wear on her face. Rin has spent the last eleven years wearing different kinds of "masks," and tolerating overbearing perfume isn't exactly the hardest one to put on. Obliging him, she takes his hand.]
Absolutely. Let us get seated and begin the night.
[Her voice is measured despite the little bit of eagerness in her eyes. After her little "get rich quick" scheme failed, she's been struggling on two (incredibly cheap, the same level of food her Rank 2 acquaintances eat) meals a day. Something decent will be a welcome reprieve.]

had he come earlier to make specific arrangements to their little date? perhaps so. evident by the way the waiter pulls the chair back for rin to sit; he might just be a six, but even large sums of chips and money can sway their hearts.
aventurine seats himself across her, legs properly crossed, and leans back. a waiter hands rin the menu. )
Order away. Anything you want, I will pay for it.
no subject
You're incredibly generous. When does business start?
[She pipes up when the waiter is already on their way back to the kitchen. In her peripheral vision Rin cannot help but notice that some of the birdcages are still empty today. He's right. It's not as crowded as she expected.]

the ones that fall prey to his pretty words may be easier to use, but those that are smart enough to see through them are always the most fun. albeit unpredictable, they have high value. )
I would like to trade the information you have. Or, if you would like, I wouldn't mind purchasing it. ( with money or anything else, though he won't specify. ) If you would prefer something more stable, working together from now on would prove to be beneficial.
no subject
I find it interesting that you'd assume I have information to sell. Granted I have been here... just under half a year? I suppose it will be six months soon. I have to wonder what made you think I'd be a good candidate.
[Was it the invasive questions and cagey attitude on the network? Possibly.]
no subject
he won't put down that card just yet, though. )
I can tell you're smart. Smarter than most, at least. ( the first strategy is to butter up and shower in compliments, though done sparsely enough not to seem overbearing. ) You care about the inner workings of the resort, which is more than other people do.
( a waiter comes with his requested wine, pouring him a glass, and aventurine gives it a gentle swirl. his reflection on it is calm and composed, as it's wont to be. he doesn't take a sip. )
Besides, you said it yourself. That you are willing to exchange 'chips, favors and information' to get what you want.
no subject
The second glass he received is plucked by Rin at its stem, and she tilts the opening his way. A silent request for Aventurine to fill it.]
I suppose cooperation will depend on what type of information you are looking for, and what you want to trade for it. In addition to if you're willing to be patient for future updates.
no subject
( his approach would have been vastly different if he were so adamant to get what he wants, information or whatnot. a business meeting guised as a date already begs for patience. every games exercises such.
he pours wine in her glass as requested, all too graceful, all too automatic, as though something he has done many, many times. )
Any information is beneficial to me. It can be from the other guests, the resort, the House, the staff. In exchange, I would be happy to offer what I have gathered, as well as my services. ( which he won't specify, on purpose. ) Oh, and of course, I would be happy to lend you that jewel imbued with magical power. I haven't forgotten.
no subject
She's not exactly aware of what each step means. They're simply motions she had watched her father do quite a bit when she was young, and next to the magecraft workshop he had a proper wine cellar.]
I see. I'd be willing to cooperate and sell such things. I do have to let you know, however... I collect jewels to fill them with my own power. A "borrowed" jewel does nothing for me unless you have a specific use in mind that might benefit me.
no subject
well. at the end of it all, aren't gambles something he does with confidence? )
That's no problem for me, then. I have a piece of aventurine I can offer you. Around... ( and he measures his with his fingers ) four centimeters. Unfortunately, it's already imbued with someone else's power, unless that's not an issue for you.
no subject
[The goal with that last bit is to signal she's not above a little sly behavior or underhandedness when it comes to dealing with other guests. There are few barriers that can keep her from what she wants, and even pride can be sold if the price is right.]
