Miss Tohsaka is a complicated young woman who finds it difficult to open up to others. Beyond that prickly (or impish) exterior is a young woman of versatility. While Miss Tohsaka can be both your devil and your angel, she can also be much more. (he is probably a billionaire with money hidden in so many tax havens... he could never work a day of his life if he so chooses. there's something else in there.

unlike her, he doesn't particularly care about manners, but that said, it isn't a bad sight. perhaps something about how his fingers are long and slender, and he uses to gesture with the spoon as he speaks. as obnoxious as he can be, when he's more muted, he can give quite an elegant aura.)

[Rin gestures at the table of food before them. He's at least enjoying himself enough that his tail was wagging, so that's something isn't it? Though maybe she shouldn't care one way or another. It's not like they're friends.]

(if he didn't eat, he wouldn't find it a problem to just watch her. what about it? is it that it is impolite? he doesn't really care about many, many things. perhaps a little thing that living in the mafia has left within him.)

[Her gaze falls to the cauldron. Earlier in the month a kind apothecary, Maomao, had helped her make the medicine for her crest. She should have plenty of time to fix the broken item before she has to make it again. But that also means... well, if she's to kiss him would she taste bitter? Herbal? Astringent? Tohsaka had the crest implanted in her arm at a very young age, and has had to take the medicine routinely since. She knows well that her "natural scent" has taken on its properties. Smelling more like a medicine shop than any normal woman should.

Would it be gross to kiss her? Revolting? Perhaps the taste of dinner lingering in their mouths will help dull the sensation.]

(he can't read her mind, naturally, but his own goes to the many years of experience he has left in Yokohama. dazai is sought after for very good reason, and he also knows that that fact in itself is infuriating.)

[She allows him to have her hand. No Longer Human washes over her yet again. Like the eerie quiet before the worst part of a storm. Unsettling and uncomfortable, but an accepted piece of interacting with him. Fine, fine. Kissing the back of her hand is somewhat charming.]

(it's wholly true. dazai lies, and it's almost too often that when he speaks the truth, it's either in a moment like this, or in a way that one wouldn't buy it easily, mixed and matched with all the bullshit he so easily brings out with his words.)

[With her hand in his, Tohsaka idly brushes the pad of her thumb along his skin. Well... she has a little bit of food left, but continuing to put off the inevitable seems futile.]

Where would you like us to begin?

[Would he like his prize on the couch, or the edge of her bed? Since her room doesn't really have dividers save for the bathroom, it doesn't matter much to her. It's only a few steps to her bed.]

(what is going to happen if he's wrong? money is going down the drain? he'll make more. he dies? woohoo! as someone who happens to trust his allies, he is never wrong about them, either.

he wouldn't make her move, there's no need. it's just a kiss! if it convinces her to actually move them to the bed, then that's another story. so, he stands, bending so he can reach her lips for a kiss. experience is felt within every movement of his lips, and if she actually embraces the experience, he'll intensify it.)

[The kiss is... stiff, at first. Unwelcoming if only for the fact that she continues having to brace herself every time they touch skin 'at first'. It melts as he stays with her. Softening into something a little more realistic as she tilts her head to better accommodate the way they fit together. Tohsaka's lips part. Gentle, tentative. As if unsure how she wants to proceed. Would it be worth it to keep him hanging? Is he the type to chase and pursue up until the point of capture? The type to taste a dessert once and never think about returning to it again?

Ah, but... even if he is, shouldn't that be fine? This whole experience in the resort is just one big gamble, after all. And with that in mind her hand reaches up to card her fingers through his hair.]

(it's natural, unfortunately. he knows how he feels to another, or at least, he can imagine, given how he feels. that hollowness within him - is it a symptom, or is it a cause to what 'no longer human' is? to have that felt can be chilling, but to him, it's what he has felt his entire life, one can get used to it if there are enough distractions, things that can fill that space.

he'll take that delightful caress as approval, bringing his tongue to taste her lips.)

[The moment his tongue swipes across her lips Rin accepts the escalation fully. Her own tongue rushes forth to slide against his. Even if she worries about her taste, whether she resembles the medicine she's had to take all her life or not, she pushes the thought aside. No one yet has made comment to it, so if she does taste herbal and bitter then no one has yet to hate it enough to tell her so. Tohsaka simply hopes that the taste of dinner masks it for now.

Her other hand reaches for his hip. She Either wants to guide him back down onto the couch with her, or to the bed. Either way, Rin would like to be a little closer. Breaking contact (to feel a breath of her magical energy again only to have it choked back out) would be less than ideal for her, so the best thing would be to sit in his lap, she thinks.]

(if he can taste it, he doesn't mind it. he prefer bitter, or umami flavors, after all. it couldn't be a dealbreaker, considering she's putting up with his limitations and challenges. her kiss, bitter, his touch, numbing. a combination of compromising.

dazai does live in the unspoken, the motions, and the invisible, so the touch is clear enough for him. he distances himself without breaking the kiss so she can stand with him, and should she comply, he'll lift so her legs can wrap around his waist or hips.)

[When he lifts her Rin's limbs immediately cling to him. Her thighs squeezing around his middle while her arms loop around his neck. Sure it means Rin's hand is out of Dazai's hair and she breaks the kiss, but she wasn't expecting to stop making contact with the ground. Will he just sit them back down on the couch like this, or...?

The cat ears atop her head give her away. Instead of being flattened or tilted back with concern, they're angled forward. Upright. Curious, and anticipating his next move.]

(he cares less about comfort but much more how their bodies fit together, how each curve can be pressed against him. so, well, the wall is quite a place to do just that, and that's where he sets them, her back against it so her weight is easier to distribute. his lips go to her neck, where he finds himself kissing.)

Is this okay before I do?

[Her first thought is: how in the world is this comfortable??? Beyond that, she laments that he asked. If done in a heat of passion with no room for her to think (and possibly the welcome dull pain of her somewhat slammed against the wall) she probably would have accepted it without hesitation. However he gives her too much room to think, and overthinking things is a fatal flaw of hers.

Pinned and with her feet off the ground means less control. Control is important to her, but... she's willing to compromise. While she has no love for Wolves in this Springtime Romp game, or whatever it is the House has over them, Rin has been making good progress on collecting cards. That is what compromise is to her in this game.

Tohsaka's head tilts to the side. Exposing more of her neck for Dazai to explore if he'd like. What the truth of the matter is, the part she won't even admit to herself, is that some loss of control might actually be good for her.]

I don't mind.

[She can feel her cheeks growing warm. Her heart rate begins to pick up space as his lips ghost against her skin. Rin shifts her hand to thread her fingers in his hair once more.]

(it wasn't done without thinking - he knows she likes control, to be levelled, to be on top of things, and the fact that he is who he is, his touch does what it does, it's the least that he can do to elevate them to the same position. in fact, he's not even think about himself right now, it's rin who is making up all his thoughts - what does she taste like? what sounds does she make? will she kick him out after? a puzzle he enjoys putting together in his mind. he can care about himself later, if at all.

the neck like that makes it so easy for his kisses to be placed, slow, as if he was searching for a spot, a reaction from a particular touch, and against her hips, she might as well sense that he's not immune to this. a growing volume, one that he has no problem pressing a bit against her to make it known.)
