Details
Miss Tohsaka is a complicated young woman who finds it difficult to open up to others. Beyond that prickly (or impish) exterior is a young woman of versatility. While Miss Tohsaka can be both your devil and your angel, she can also be much more. A wealth of curiosity, willingness to try new things, and her own taste for variety means that she may just be able to scratch an itch or fill a niche that you just haven't been able to yet.
My Future PlansIs ambition Miss Tohsaka's middle name? It just might be. She intends to become well known in the community of Mages — hoping to live up to not only her father's legacy, but the legacy of her family's name. However, before that...
It seems like Miss Tohsaka is "in it to win it"! Our lovely bachelorette is determined to win the Game of our local resort. It seems she has a specific wish she wants granted, an ideal prize in mind, but so far she's been secretive as to what it is. Are you able to pry it from her plump little lips?
Rumor has it that Miss Tohsaka comes from a long pedigree of Mages, and was born with a rare ability. Aside from being a veritable super-battery of magical energy, she also has been raised as a mage for over ten years. How studious. Do you think any of that might have... other uses?
Favorite Books, Movies, Music, and FoodUnfortunately Miss Tohsaka doesn't indulge in most hobbies that don't have a practical purpose. The tomes she reads are informational texts about magic, her gardening is for crafting potions, and her workouts are... you guessed it! To keep her combat ability up.
Perhaps you're the right person to intervene. Teach her to live a little! Let her hair down, and loosen up. How can an uptight girl like her actually win the Game if she's so closed off and guarded? Take her out for some fun, teach her a new hobby, or have her engage with yours!
Oh, dear. Miss Tohsaka's tastes are so varied that it's hard to pinpoint just one type of ideal! Big, muscly men — soft, curvy women — or even someone in that sweet androgynous spot... What really catches her eye is a challenge, or an easy win. Put her to the test or roll over for her.
Do be kind and make sure to praise her. As someone who lost her father early, poor Miss Tohsaka has been starved for validation. Or, perhaps... you could indulge her on the opposite end of the spectrum? Such an arrogant girl deserves a little punishment, and as much as she punishes herself some help might be appreciated. If not, she may just end up punishing you, and making you her prey.

★★★☆☆
Kind of vanilla, but fun to tease. Would like exploring more of what can make him squirm, and hear him beg.
★★★★☆
Exciting and experimental. I guess I do like girls too, huh? Maybe we can incorporate magic next time.
★★★☆☆
Interesting. Curious about his body. Am I... a furry? Is that what you call it?
★★☆☆☆
Annoying, but workable. Mediocre, but because she's too vanilla and not entirely on technique.
★☆☆☆☆
Absolutely atrocious. Wish I could give negative stars. No more to say.

investment makes it sound like i was doing it on purpose to get something out of you

[Tohsaka considers adding, "but that guy you like might try," but instead she holds back. She already feels somewhat weird for the time spent with him on Halloween.]
Just make sure to be ready for dinner. Come early if you'd like to use my washroom to take a shower or a bath while I cook. You technically bought it, so it's the least I can do.

sure
i'll use your shower if you're offering
see you in a bit

Rice is in the rice maker. She has pickled vegetables in the fridge.]
Bathroom is down the hall and to the right. There's a linen closet on the same side before you reach it. Ignore the rooms on the left.
no subject
... you really are getting up there in rank now, huh. Look at how fancy this place is.
[ Yes, he's going to be grumpy for just a moment longer about how that was his rank-up that was spent to boost Rin to this glitzy place, but. Sigh. Fucking figures this place would keep jerking him around. Fuuta gives a small huff before shrugging to indicate he's dropping the matter, then heading down the hallway as indicated. ]
'kay. I won't take too long.
[ So he says, but he will indulge a little bit. It's always nice getting to shower without having to hurry to avoid people seeing his injuries. ]
no subject
While Fuuta enjoys the solitude of the bathroom, Tohsaka continues cooking. Melting the sugar, browning the pork belly, and reducing the soy sauce and shaoxing cooking wine to a glaze — which will probably still be in the process of happening when Fuuta exits the shower. It takes roughly 45 minutes, after all. Rice will stay in the cooker to keep warm. Rin pulls out the pickled vegetables so she can plate everything when it's time to eat.]
It'll just be a couple more minutes. Do you want anything to drink?
no subject
His cheeks are a little pink from the hot water, his towel-dried hair sticking out in odd directions, and he's finishing up applying a fresh bandage to his cheek as he ambles towards the kitchen. ]
Oh, it smells good in here ...
[ The shower might have also made him a little muzzy and lax, his mumble coming more relaxed and honest than usual as he takes a deep inhale. Then he pads over, tossing out the bandage's paper backing before leaning over to look around Rin's shoulder to see what she's doing. He's not sure when's the last time he saw someone cooking -- maybe his sister, before she left for cosmetology school. ]
I'm fine, I can wait. ... this all looks real complicated. I didn't know you're so good at cooking.
no subject
Well of course! I had to learn after my father died, since my mother was too far gone to do it herself. I'm most familiar with Chinese cuisine since that's what my legal guardian preferred. Tonight we're having Hong Shao Rou with rice and pickled vegetables.
no subject
Okay, but you did have a legal guardian, then. Feels kinda weird that they weren't cooking for you. Where d'you keep your chopsticks. [ Followed immediately by the sound of a drawer opening as Fuuta finds them, and picks out a pair. ] I'm gonna try one of the pickles.
[ It's phrased like a statement, but it's really more asking permission, since he hovers a bit instead of just going for it. He knows he should wait, but he's kind of hungry now, smelling the food cooking. ]
no subject
[Since it won't be long for the reduction, Rin leaves the stove to grab bowls for the two of them. First, a generous helping of rice — but not so much so that it would hinder the amount of meat she'll be piling on for the both of them.
With the winter chill setting in on the resort, and Tohsaka unable to understand the climate control settings, the rice is visibly steaming when she pops open the lid. The smell of rice is "plain" to some, but for her it is familiar. Comforting. She takes the paddle next to the cooker and begins setting each bowl. There will be leftovers. Either for seconds or perhaps for another day.]
no subject
What the hell. He sounds like trash. [ An emphatic sigh before he crunches his way through the pickle, swallows, then makes sure to gesture with his chopsticks as he goes on: ] That's the problem with those religious types. Like, I've got nothing against religion in theory, but you know the people who act high and mighty about following the word of god are always the ones who don't actually do anything to help people. They're just delusional, self-important pricks in the end!
[ He steals another piece of the pickles for himself before being distracted by the scent of freshly-done rice, and wanders closer to Rin once more, basically tagging along after her with zero awareness of what he's doing. ]
Anyway, it's cool you know how to cook, even if it was because of that scumbag. My sister never got that much into it. Said it was too much trouble.
no subject
Are you interested in learning?
[Anything to keep her mind from circling around the fact that it's so incredibly nice to have someone impressed and proud of what you can do, rather than what you pretend you are.
Tohsaka scoops a hefty serving of the braised pork belly into the bowl, and hands it over to Fuuta to accept.]
no subject
[ Sorry, Rin. That refusal comes without missing a beat, and Fuuta gives her a look like she's asked something silly, instead of the perfectly reasonable question it was. ]
My room doesn't even have a microwave, let alone a kitchen. What would be the point. And besides, even if I were in a better room, we're in a resort with a million restaurants -- cooking would just be a for-fun thing. No point.
[ This is so ungrateful, and also very unconvincing in the face of how Fuuta's face lights up a little bit when he's handed the bowl heaped with braised pork. It had already smelled good, but it's even more tantalizing when the warm-bowl's cupped in his hand like this. Fuuta pauses only to grab up the pickles before wandering over towards the nearest counter, then pausing. ]
You want me to go to the dining room? [ He would honestly be okay just eating here, but he's still a guest, so he'll abide by her rules ... ]
no subject
[A second bowl is made up. This time for herself. Meat is indulgent, and so she piles up less than him. Perhaps to watch her figure, or maybe to make sure the man who paid for the room gets the better cut.
Rin grabs a stool for herself. To sit next to him rather than across.]
You know I'm not surprised. That you're the younger one.
no subject
I'll think about it.
[ For now, though, he wants to focus on the food. Settled on his little bar stool, Fuuta doesn't wait before digging right into his bowl -- going for the biggest block of pork and taking a massive bite. He can't help the appreciative little hum that escapes him; it really is good, and there's something uniquely satisfying about big chunks of meat like this.
He's still chewing when he looks over at Rin, but at least he covers his mouth with his hand as he gripes, ]
Wha'sat supposed to mean? [ Chew, chew, swallow. ] It's not like I was some pampered brat, you know. She left home for beauty school as soon as she got out of high school, anyway. It was just me and my old man for most of what I remember.
no subject
It's just your attitude. You don't seem like the "big brother" type. Though as someone who was never a good "big sister" I probably don't have much room to talk.
no subject
... I can take care of younger people when I need to. [ He definitely needed a moment to come up with that retort, but his delivery's a little too staunch for it to be a complete bluff. ] It's an adult's responsibility to look after kids. That's got nothing to do with having younger siblings or not.
no subject
[More like he shifted the goal posts. An "adult's responsibility" isn't exactly the same as an "older sibling" vibe, so his assertion feels like it shoots beyond the scope of their conversation.]
no subject
[ A small huff before he leans an elbow against the countertop, shifting to look at her more properly. ]
If you're thinking about how I compare to your little sister though, don't bother. Not like my sister and I were that close. Or, like ... normal siblings or whatever, either. We don't fight or anything, but our family's always been ... not great.
no subject
[Always wanting to obtain something out of reach because you've seen someone ahead of you already cross the finish line.
Rin takes this moment to let her words settle in so she may have a few good hearty mouthfuls of her meal.]
no subject
Dunno what that's got to do with being a younger sibling.
[ Followed by a big chopstick-ful of rice shoveled in his mouth. ]
And what kind of skills are you gonna say are so easy to add? Nothing in life's that easy, you know.
no subject
Unless you like being the little sibling?
[He's a few years older than she is, but that doesn't matter. She leans in. Her shoulder pressing against his as her weight shifts into him. An impish, teasing smile cuts across her lips.]
no subject
I dunno what kind of energy you're talking about, but you know I'm still older than you, right? Just 'cause you're a older sibling doesn't make you anything close to my older sibling.
[ And then a little huff before he picks up another big chunk of pork. ]
'sides, I can take care of myself just fine, when I'm not stuck in some stupid place like this. Not like my old man ever did much for me other than leaving me money.
no subject
Yet you don't cook. Do you know how to do your own laundry? What about manage finances? What about growing your own herbs, or making your own medicines? You remember when Clubs showed us the underlying state of this resort, right? Have you considered what your back ups are if that konbini food wasn't available anymore?
no subject
I can do my own fucking laundry. You think I've been buying new clothes every time something gets dirty this whole time? And I can manage finances just fine. You think surviving this long as a 2 was easy? Give me a break. I was prepared to live by myself after graduation. [ But that very specific answer means, no, he doesn't know how to do any of the other things. 😔 ] And that other stuff doesn't count. I told you, I'm just a normal person -- I was prepared to be a wage slave, not get stuck in a magical sex resort. Why the hell would I know how to make medicines. You're just making up scenarios now. It's not like being able to cook is even that important.
