[The sun had set a long time ago. The tea had settled and become luke warm, if not cold. The gentle incandescent light of the lamps were supplemented by flickering candles. Gentle moonlight filtered in from the large windows of her late father's study. Together they both sat on one of the long sofas flanking an antique wooden coffee table.

Tohsaka's eyes felt heavy. Almost as heavy as the tome in her hand. She has spent the last five minutes attempting to reread the same paragraph again and again as her brain refuses to retain anything this late.]

[ At the same time, Shirogane had been reading and note-taking close to Tohsaka, studying for his upcoming exams. While he felt a drowsiness come on, he was kind of used to it. All nighters were par for the course, and he'd pretty much trained himself to operate on maybe 3 or 4 hours of sleep.

It wasn't healthy in the slightest, but that's the price he pays.

His eyes momentarily scan over to Tohsaka, who hadn't seemed to turn her page in a while now... hmm. ]
